Shayne Stork Funeral Sevices have been absolutely brilliant for us as a family. They treated our darling father, and us, with the utmost respect. Nothing was too much trouble, including our multiple visits to the ‘Chapel of rest’ to see dad before he physically left us. Kindness, compassionate and always professional. Shayne Stork handled my father's cremation well. However, the aftercare experience has been deeply disappointing. Nearly a year after the event, I received a voicemail threatening debt collection within two weeks, over a bill that had been sent to the wrong address through no fault of my own. Bereavement times are tough and I had no idea the bill was even outstanding still. When I called to resolve the matter, I was met with a very rude and insensitive member of staff, which, given the circumstances surrounding a bereavement, is simply unacceptable. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Shayne and his wonderful family for taking such tender care of my precious son. They treated him as though he were their own, and for that, I am truly and forever grateful. They carried him away wrapped in his beloved Spiderman duvet ,a small detail that made things a little more difficult for them physically, yet they never once hesitated. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They even made him cozy in the chapel of rest, still tucked up in his Spiderman duvet rather than placed in a casket. That simple act of love and understanding meant more to us than words can ever describe. The service they provided was absolutely beautiful. In the most traumatic and heartbreaking moment of our lives, they made everything feel gentler, softer, and more manageable. I truly cannot thank Shayne, family and staff sincerely enough, they have been absolutely amazing from start to finish with arranging and carrying out a truly beautiful service and send off for both my grandad a few years ago and more recently my uncle. They have acted with such respect kindness warmth understanding compassion love  and dignity making one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do a little bit easier They have helped with advice and guidance at such a difficult and emotional time and answering any questions I may of had. Shayne went above and beyond when many times I wanted to go and see and sit and spend time with my loved one in the chapel of rest even giving my uncles beard a little trim as I had requested and as a keep sake (I did not think of) he saved me a lock of his beard and presented it to me in a small gift box which I will treasure for ever (thank you Shayne ) Losing someone we love  is never easy but I would definitely 100% always  recommend Shayne stork family services to look after and carry out such a beautiful service to say a final goodbye to loved ones. My nanny is currently in shaynes and the rest of the staffs care and these guys are amazing they go above and beyond and nothing is to much for them and the funeral home is so lovely and they all make you feel so calm and are all so lovely and when i was organising my nanny's funeral I was so nervous and worried but shayne helped me through it all and was amazing and made me feel so relaxed and when me and my family have been to see my nanny these guys are so caring and check you are OK and make sure you are OK and even help if your disabled to get you close to your loved one and make sure you are definitely ok before they leave you alone which I think is so kind of them to do it helps it really do I can't thankyou all enough so far your all amazing
